Hello everyone! My name is Reba. I'm a new member to the 40-Decade club and learning not to give a phuck. LOL! I've just celebrated 10 years with the love of my life and the best friend I've ever had... Together we have three dogs, five cats, no kids, and two S197 Mustangs... a 2006 Stampede Edition (Trinity) and a 2007 Pony Package (Pride). Both are V6 Coupes. We are both photographers (Yeah NIKON!) and from time to time you'll see some work show up here just for grins. I hope to meet a lot of new friends and have fun discussing one of my favorite subjects - MUSTANGS!
STAMPEDE EDITION MUSTANG
Ford Regional Special
A total of 500 Stampede edition Mustangs were shipped to the roughly 300 Ford dealers in Texas and Oklahoma. Built upon the existing V6 Pony Package, the 2006 Ford Mustang Stampede Edition exterior options included 17-inch aluminum wheels and a pony grille with integrated foglamps. The Stampede Edition added twin 9-inch silver racing stripes, rear spoiler, chrome exhaust tips, a Stampede gas cap and special badging. This was a return to the regional specials of the sixties! A similar car was offered in California with different badging in a production run of 400.

APRIL 2007 UPDATE:
I think for the most part that the interior and body work are done. I have one more piece of billet to order and then the dash is done. I need a way to bring the Blue in but do it tastefully and have it subtle. The interior is gray with black and I just want a touch of blue. No neon or LED's. This has to stay as close to original as possible and CLEAN. We're talking Show Quality.
I do still have Performance mods on the list but they will have to be easy bolt-ons only. Nothing that will require major modification to the body or chassis. Nothing that will detract from the car's collectibility factor later on.
Decisions, decision, decision... What fun! :)
MAY 2007 UPDATE:
Rockers, Trunk Mat, last two pieces of interior billet added... and my wishlist is much smaller than the "Added" list. I'm trying to find Cragar's Big Blue Brakes which so far has been impossible. I like that they are blue, I don't have to paint my existing calipers, and it is an upgrade to the existing brakes. I just don't know if they will fit my rims... Just another of the "Would to have it" things that may not come to be. I'm currently looking at the audio and the engine upgrades now but nothing major will be done in either department. Engine will be bolt on only. Audio may consist of a simple amp and sub install to the trunk. I'm trying to keep this mildly modified to "close to stock". We'll see. More to come later!
JULY 2007 UPDATE:
7/26/07: Today I added the Shock Tower Covers and
Radiator Cover Extensions from Midwest Auto Gear. Other engine bay items are to be ordered within the next week. (See list above). Since my last update I've joined a local chapter of Mustang Club of America and actively participating in shows - 3 so far - and have 1 Class Award and 1 First Place Trophy - Participant's Choice. Also, Mustang Times published my article and photos on my car in the July magazine. :) Its been a good summer! If you're in the Texas area in August come see the Yellow Rose Classic All Ford Nationals in Fort Worth on 8/11 - 8/12/2007. Its going to be a great show, its indoors, and there are a lot of great cars there! http://ntmc.org for information and discount tickete!!
